Our headquarters is in İzmit, in the province of Kocaeli, about an hour by road from Istanbul. Many brides combine a visit to Istanbul with a fitting here. This guide covers what to expect, so you leave your fitting with a clear idea rather than feeling rushed.
Why book ahead?
You are welcome to drop in, but an appointment means the time is set aside for you. Our team can prepare gowns in advance, and you can try them calmly, without waiting.
Booking is simple. On the appointment page, choose İzmit, pick a day and a time, add your name and confirm. WhatsApp opens with your message ready; simply send it, and our team will reply to confirm. If your plans change, you can move your date later.
If you are travelling, choose a time when you will not be in a hurry. A gown tried on after a long journey can look different in the mirror.
Is the fitting free?

What to prepare
You do not need to know everything at your first fitting, but a little preparation helps:
- Your date and venue: a garden or a ballroom, summer or winter; these shape the fabric and the volume of the skirt more than anything.
- A budget range: having a range in mind makes choosing easier.
- Photos you love: save a few on your phone and look for what they share. Perhaps they all have long sleeves, or a simple back.
- What you do not want: the gowns you would never wear tell us a lot too.
You can browse our collection beforehand. When you tap a gown, its name is added to your appointment message, so it will be ready for you. If the gown you imagine is not in the collection, try our gown designer and bring your design to the fitting.
What to wear and bring
What you wear underneath affects what you see in the mirror. Choose something thin and close to your skin tone; dark or patterned underwear can show through light fabrics.
Useful things to bring:
- Shoes with a heel close to the height you will wear on the day, so the hem can be judged properly.
- If you are looking at modest gowns, a scarf tied close to how you plan to wear it, so you can see how the neckline and hijab meet. Our guide to choosing a modest wedding dress has more on this.
- A hair tie, if you plan to wear your hair up. With your hair up, the neckline and back can look quite different.
Light make-up helps too: heavy foundation can mark white fabric, and you will see more clearly what each gown brings out in you.
What happens at the fitting
We start with a short conversation about your wedding and the feeling you would like. Then you try the gowns we have chosen together. Fittings take place in a private room with an all-female team, and you can be as quiet or ask as many questions as you like.
Enjoy that first moment in front of the mirror.
A few things worth asking before you leave:
- Can this gown be adjusted to my measurements: sleeves, neckline, the volume of the skirt?
- How does the fabric look in daylight and under evening lights?
- With my wedding date, how will the process go, and how many more fittings will I need?
- Can it be made in a modest version?
Do not only look in the mirror. Sit, stand, raise your arms and walk a few steps; you will wear this gown for hours.
